Located in Abbotsford BC, The Plant Science Laboratory is a modern, well equipped, lab serving the horticultural industry. HistoryThe laboratory started in 1987 doing Quality Control testing for Later Chemicals Ltd. Product development services were added in 1988. In 1996 this service was extended to Lilly Miller Brands and E.M.Matson. In October 2002 Later Chemicals closed its manufacturing facility. The laboratory assets were purchased and moved to Terralink in order to continue quality control testing for Laters, BC Precision Packaging and Terralink. In order to fully utilize the facility, the lab started soil, water and nutrient tests for Terralink clients. In 2011 the lab was moved into the larger "chicken room" to provide more space for new equipment. A Flash 2000 combustion analyser, iCAP 6200 ICP and a Dionex uHPLC were added to make tissue testing possible. The first Plant tissue tests were done commercially the following summer. Accreditation
